Would hypnosis work for gays or lesbians?

Suppose I was a lesbian and went to see a hypnosis wanting to become straight (hetrosexual) would the the hypnosis be able to do that?

Hey, i'm just exploring some more unheard of methods to supplement my science revision, i have a series of lectures that i play while i sleep. I'm just wondering does this actually work? also can i use some form of self hypnosis to maybe get my mind into a certain state which enables for a heightened Sense of learning. i.e. if i self hypnotize myself and play educational lectures in the background will it work?
